Gutter replacement and repair
We replace tired cast-iron and cracked uPVC guttering with modern systems sized for the roof they serve — half-round for most homes, deep-flow where big roof areas dump serious water, and ogee where the look matters. Every run is set with a laser level to the correct fall, because a gutter that's a few millimetres out at one end is a gutter that overflows at the other. Leaking joints, sagging brackets and misaligned downpipes are usually a quick, inexpensive fix — you don't always need a full replacement, and we'll tell you when you don't.
Fascias, soffits and ventilation
Fascias carry your gutters; soffits close off the eaves. When the original timber ones start peeling and softening, capping over them traps moisture against the wood — so we remove the old boards and fit full-replacement uPVC that never needs painting. Crucially, we build in eaves ventilation at the same time: without airflow at the eaves, lofts condensate, and we've seen mouldy rafters on ten-year-old roofs because a previous installer sealed everything tight.
Leaves, moss and maintenance
Around leafy towns like Sevenoaks, Haywards Heath and East Grinstead, gutters fill fast — leaves in autumn, moss washed off the roof all year. We clear and camera-check gutters from the ground where possible using vacuum poles, and can add hedgehog brushes or gutter guards where trees make blockages a yearly event.
